Katsura Yasunbu Executive Chef

Born in 1975, KatsuraYasunbu is the inspiration behind Amaterasu’s menu. He began his culinary training at a restaurant in Nagoya. At the age of 27, in order to master new skills and cuisines, Chef Katsura became the apprentice of the chef at the Imperial Hotel. After 10 years of learning from the best, Chef Katsura was confident of his abilities to begin his own ventures. Today, he owns a couple of popular restaurants in Japan.
